Baby Led Weaning: Potato Wedges

Its difficult to know what things to make your baby that takes a small amount of prep but also, a small amount of ingredients! Here is a really super simple recipe for home made potato wedges that take just 30 minutes to cook in the oven or if you have an air fryer just 5 minutes!

To start, you will need two medium sized potatoes or how ever much you think your baby will like to taste, chew and mush! Once peeled, stand the potato up tall ways and cut down the middle. Then lay the cut side down and chop long ways into chip/wedge type shapes.

For the next part, you will need the following ingredients;

  • Garlic granules
  • Paprika
  • Corriander
  • Pepper
  • Onion granules
  • 1 cal spray olive oil
  • Oregano

Its also good to know all the ingredients above come in little jars at the herbs and spices section, at supermarkets!

Pre heat your oven to between 150-200°c. Combine the ingredients to as much or as little as you like, but making sure the wedges are well coated with the spray. Lay them out so that they can all be easily seen, without any on top of another. Pop into your oven on a baking tray and leave for 30 minutes. For your air fryer, do the same but leave for 5 minutes.

Serve and let your baby enjoy!
